What is  cpush0.dll

The Win32/Sogou application is a family of obtrusive adware items reported by many users to implement the cpush0.dll file into the infected system as one of its variants. These users also claim that the cpush0.dll malware is known to be capable of infecting unprotected Windows-based systems with missing OS security certificates and an unsecured Windows System Registry. The same users reported that the cpush0.dll malware is capable of latching itself unto outdated Web browsers as a BHO (Browser Helper Object) that can display pop-up advertisements while the user is browsing the Internet. Some of these users claim that the cpush0.dll malware is distributed with EXE component processes that can covertly gather private user details and Internet surfing information from the infected system and its Web browsers, in which these details are said to be transmitted by the cpush0.dll malware to remote servers that are managed by its authors, and the data transmission and communication lines that the cpush0.dll malware is said to use to carry out this procedure are the unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of the unprotected Windows-based computer. According to these users, these details allow these remote servers to transmit pop-up ads to the cpush0.dll malware that are related to the user's frequently visited sites, bookmarked Web pages and previous Internet search engine queries. Other users reported that their anti-malware tools flag the cpush0.dll malware as a variant of the Adware_Cpush program and the ADW_ADCLICKER.DN application, which are families of pesky adware items known to have spyware functionalities.
