The executable process file cpqeadm.exe (version 8.0.0.411) is a non-essential process that is identified as Easy Access Software Demon that is part of the Compaq Access Button Support of the HP Easy Access Button Support as developed by the Company, Compaq Computer or HP. The process file is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process cpqeadm.exe that permits to program more keys on their range of multimedia keyboards. It does not feature a visible window, is not CPU intensive and neither is it known as a Windows system file. The process file cpqeadm.exe is a background process that is located in various Windows languages or versions typically in C:\Program Files\Compaq\Easy Access Button Support\Cpqeadm.exe in the subfolder of C:\Program Files. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cpqeadm.exe. is used by Compaq Multimedia, If you shut down cpqeadm.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cpqeadm.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Compaq Multimedia, from your system.
