The cplcl32.exe process is an executable component file of the firmware utilities and device driver software resources that are used by the Dritek multimedia keyboard or the Dritek/Compal ATR10 Easy Button device for implementing the functionalities of its multimedia keys into the Windows-based computer. The Dritek multimedia keyboards and the Dritek/Compal ATR10 Easy Button keypads are normally equipped into certain Toshiba laptops, Acer TravelMate notebook computers and Compaq mobile computing devices, which means the software utilities of these devices are included in the firmware and driver software distributions of these laptop and mobile computer models. This also means the cplcl32.exe file along with the other component files and resource libraries that are used by these keypad and multimedia keyboard devices are placed in the system upon the installation of these firmware distributions and device driver software packages for these laptop computers and mobile devices. The cplcl32.exe process assists these firmware components and drivers in integrating the multimedia key functionalities of these devices into the Windows-based computer, which can be used to conveniently launch email or Internet applications and toggle the embedded Bluetooth or wireless connectivity features of these laptops and mobile devices.
