Many users claim that the copytosendto.dll file is a malicious program flagged by their system security tools as a variant of Trojans and obtrusive adware items embedded with spyware functionalities, many of which have been reported to infect unprotected Windows-based systems with missing OS security certificates, outdated Web browsers, unencrypted TCP/IP network ports and an unsecured Windows System Registry. These users also claim that the copytosendto.dll malware is distributed with EXE component processes that are integrated with self-activating code, which means these executable components of the copytosendto.dll malware are said to automaticaly initialize and also activate the copytosendto.dll malware during system startup. These users also state that the system allows these EXE component processes and the copytosendto.dll malware to run during system startup and operate as hidden background processes during system runtime because of certain keys and entries that the executable components of the copytosendto.dll malware are said to be capable of creating and injecting into the unsecured Windows System Registry upon its successful placement and activation in the unprotected Windows-based system. The copytosendto.dll malware has also been reported by these users to be capable of exploiting and using unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of the unprotected Windows-based system, especially those with missing or outdated OS security certificates, in order to initiate contact with predesignated remote servers that are managed by the authors of the copytosendto.dll malware. Upon establishing data transmission and communication lines with these remote servers, the copytosendto.dll malware is said to download more malicious applications unto the system from these remote servers, which are also said to transmit pop-up advertisements to the infected system, especially when the system has outdated Web browsers, in which these pop-up ads are displayed while the user is browsing the Internet.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. copytosendto.dll. is used by Trojan/Adware/Spyware, If you shut down copytosendto.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop copytosendto.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan/Adware/Spyware, from your system.
