What is  cool.exe

The software cool.exe is a file that is added to the computer upon obtaining the W32.HLLW.Donk.B virus via Internet. The system process cool.exe runs as a worm that penetrates the computer system and forces itself to link on an IRC (Internet Relay Chat) server for downloading purposes. Through IRC, the cool.exe file has the ability to replicate and spread on all the users that are involved in either online group conferences, channels, Internet text messaging, file sharing and data transfer if the user of the server carries the W32.HLLW.Donk.B. The cool.exe system process is found on a Windows folder but is not considered as a core file (holds logged working state of a computer program). The cool.exe module has the capacity to control other running programs of the user and/or the programs of the other users that are linked on the same IRC server.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cool.exe. is used by W32.HLLW.Donk.B, If you shut down cool.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
