The comuid32.dll file has been reported by many users as a malicious program flagged by their system security applications as a component or variant of the TROJ_TRACUR.SMDI program, which is a family of Trojans known to infect unprotected Windows-based systems. Other users claim that their anti-malware applications classify the comuid32.dll file as a Trojan that belongs to the TROJ_TRACUR.AG family of malware items. Some users also reported that their system security programs detect the comuid32.dll file as a malicious application associated with the W32.Ackantta!gen application, which is another family of Trojans. In all three instances, these users reported that the comuid32.dll file is activated by one of its EXE component processes during system startup and is capable of exploiting unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of an unprotected Windows-based system, and these exploited TCP/IP network ports are said to be used by the comuid32.dll malware to initiate contact with remote servers that are managed by its authors, in order to download more malicious programs unto the system from those remote servers, while some users claim that the comuid32.dll malware waits for instructions from those remote servers and performs those directives in the infected system upon its receipt.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. comuid32.dll. is used by TROJ_TRACUR.SMDI and TROJ_TRACUR.AG and W32.Ackantta!gen Trojan, If you shut down comuid32.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop comuid32.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is TROJ_TRACUR.SMDI and TROJ_TRACUR.AG and W32.Ackantta!gen Trojan, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as TROJ_TRACUR.SMDI and TROJ_TRACUR.AG and W32.Ackantta!gen Trojan, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
