Many user reports claim that their system security tools flag the compstuic.dll file as a malicious application associated with Trojan components and worm variants that are embedded with spyware functionalities, and these malware items are known to infect unprotected Windows-based systems with outdated system security certificates, unencrypted TCP/IP network ports and an unsecured or mismanaged Windows System Registry. These same users reported that the compstuic.dll malware is capable of finding unencrypted TCP/IP network ports of unprotected Windows-based systems, and upon exploiting these system vulnerabilities, the compstuic.dll malware is said to use these TCP/IP network ports to initiate contact with remote servers that are managed by the authors of the compstuic.dll malware. Upon initiating contact with these remote servers, the compstuic.dll malware is said to then establish data transmission and communication lines with these remote servers, in order to download more malicious applications unto the system. Some users claim that the compstuic.dll malware also use these data transmission and communication lines with the remote servers of its authors to transmit private user details and Internet surfing information that the compstuic.dll malware is said to be capable of secretly gathering from the infected system and its default Web browser while some of its EXE component files are actively operating as hidden background processes.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. compstuic.dll. is used by Trojan/Worm, If you shut down compstuic.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop compstuic.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan/Worm, from your system.
