What is  cobian.exe

The cobian.exe process is an executable file deployed into the system by the Cobian Backup software, which is a Windows program classified as a data backup application. The cobian.exe process is particularly integrated into the system by the Cobian Backup application to serve as its executable program dispatcher file, which means users can execute the cobian.exe file to load the Cobian Backup software unto the system and start creating backup copies of their data, place these backup copies in their external or internal data storage devices or in local drives that are connected to their Windows-based computers, or upload these backup copies unto their remote servers or Web servers via the FTP (File Transfer Protocol) options available in the Cobian Backup software. Activating the cobian.exe process can also allow the user to access the UI (User Interface) of this program. The cobian.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Cobian Backup software, which means the cobian.exe file is one of the EXE component processes included among other resource libraries and files that are packaged into the installer distributions of the Cobian Backup software, which is a free Windows data backup tool.
