The cnxdsltb.exe file is an executable process that appears as "CNXDSLTaskBar" under the Processes tab of the Windows Task Manager, and the cnxdsltb.exe process is a component file of the Conexant DSL Taskbar application, which is a small Windows program built into the firmware resources and device driver software utilities of ADSL modems that are equipped with Conexant chipsets, such as Samsung AHT-E310 network devices and Access Runner ADSL modems. This means the cnxdsltb.exe process is specifically deployed into the system as the executable program dispatcher file of the Conexant DSL Taskbar application and operates as a background process during system runtime or whenever the associated modem or network device is actively being used by the Windows-based system. The cnxdsltb.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the firmware components and device driver software utilities of these modems and network devices, which also means the cnxdsltb.exe file is included as one of the component processes among other resource libraries and files packaged into the installer distributions of these ADSL modem drivers and firmware utilities.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cnxdsltb.exe. is used by Conexant DSL Taskbar, If you shut down cnxdsltb.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cnxdsltb.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Conexant DSL Taskbar, from your system.
