The cndrive32.exe process has been flagged by the system security tools of many users as a malicious application associated with the Win32/DelfInject.gen!BV virus, which has a lot of variants known to infect unprotected Windows-based systems by injecting malicious code into legitimate system modular components (DLLs or Dynamic Link Library files). Other users state that the cndrive32.exe process has been classified by their reliable anti-malware applications as an executable file with self-replicating functionalities that are associated with the reported capabilities of Win32/Pushbot.gen variants, which are worms known to compromise the stability of unsecured Windows-based systems. Some users claim that their own system security tools flag the cndrive32.exe as a component of the TROJ_GEN.R2FE1GF application, which is a family of Trojans. As a virus, worm or Trojan, all these three user groups reported that the cndrive32.exe process is embedded with self-activating functionalities that it can implement upon system startup because of certain keys and entries it can create and inject into the system upon its successful placement and activation in the Windows-based computer, in which these registry entries and keys are said to instruct the system to allow the cndrive32.exe process to automatically run whenever Windows boots up and to continue operating as a hidden background process during system runtime.
