What is cm.exe
The executable process file cm.exe (version 1.0.0.1) is recorded as the Trojan.Goldun.G Trojan Trojan which is a Windows file developed by the Company Trojan.Goldun.G Trojan. The process file is further identified as a Connection Manager or Connection Mnager and may go with another product name of Banglalion WiMax Connection Manager that is created by the Company Banglalion. The process file is not a Windows core file and neither does it have a visible window although it may be regarded as a process that starts upon Windows start up with the Registry Key of HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ Current Version\ Run or HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows\ Current Version\ Explorer\ User Shell Folder. The process file is found to be located in C:\Windows\system 32\CM.EXE folder with the subfolder of C:\Program Files and directory %PROGRAMFILE%\ZTE WIMAX CM\CM. On Windows 7/XP, it has a file size of 126,976 bytes which functions as have the permission of attackers and hackers to access to the PC and its files from a remote computer that gains entry in stealing passwords, Internet banking and personal data.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cm.exe. is used by Connection Manager, If you shut down cm.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cm.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Connection Manager, from your system.
