What is  clocx.exe

The clocx.exe process file, with the description ClocX, is an executable file developed by the company BonSoft and belongs to the product BonSoft ClocX. The clocx.exe file is a freeware analog clock application that is compatible with different Windows systems such as Microsoft Windows 98, Microsoft Windows 2000, Microsoft Windows 2003, Windows ME, Windows NT and Windows XP. The program, upon installation on the desktop, can be set by the user via the Internet. Some of its features include a calendar display, one-time or repeated alarms and anti-aliasing. Additionally, the clocx.exe process and the ClocX program are integrated with time zone selection and configurable background features. The user is also able to run applications, play sound files or activate a message box using the program. However, some user reports claim that recent updates for the program may cause errors on the application, while other users state that it may be associated with the Cloaked Malware group of viruses. According to some users, the process takes over the computer system, and records screen contents, keyboard inputs and mouse activities.
