What is known about the file is that it is licensed under Wave Systems, and that this is installed with some of Wave’s security software. There are laptops that already have this file installed, particularly those that have Wave’s Trusted Platform Modules, which is shortened to TPMs. This is a security chip that can be found in motherboards. You can locate the file in C:\Program Files\Wave Systems Corp\Common\changetpmauth.exe. It has a size of about 693 KB. The file can be enabled or prevented from launching based on the user’s judgment.
