What is  cgserver.exe

The cgserver.exe process is an executable program file integrated into the system by the Call Guard Server, which is a Windows program classified as a network security tool developed by Eicon Networks. The Call Guard Server software is bundled with the ISDN and ADSL networking products of Eicon Networks as an application that can allow users to protect the Windows-based system against unauthorized outgoing or incoming calls via the Eicon Networks ADSL or ISDN modem. The Call Guard Server application can also allow users to enter legitimate phone numbers that can be authorized for incoming and outgoing modem calls. The cgserver.exe process is specifically deployed into the system by the Call Guard Server application as its executable program dispatcher file, which means users can execute the cgserver.exe file in order to load the Call Guard Server software unto the system and implement its modem monitoring and security protocols. The cgserver.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Call Guard Server software.
