The cfwan.exe process is an executable component file of the Toshiba ConfigFree software, which is a Windows application classified as a network management tool designed by Toshiba as a bundled program included in the firmware distributions and device driver utilities of certain Toshiba laptop models. Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cfwan.exe. is used by Toshiba ConfigFree, If you shut down cfwan.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cfwan.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Toshiba ConfigFree, from your system.
