The process gives users added features for configuring their wireless network cards on Toshiba mobile machines, i.e. laptops, notebooks and handheld mobile devices. For users who do not wish to have the file installed on their devices, or have no use for the process that the file executes, cfsvcs.exe can be safely removed. This is a Windows background service that loads upon startup with the run identifier of “ConfigFree Service.” Typical disk image path is C:\Program Files\Toshiba\ConfigFree\cfsvcs.exe. Its RAM allocation is approximately 2.23 MB. There are two non-system modules that get loaded with the process: ndsapi.dll and cfwlapi.dll. The process loads through services.exe, which serves as the file’s parent process.
