What is  cfg32.exe

The cfg32.exe process is an executable file that has been reported by many users as a malicious adware program classified by their system security tools as a variant of the AdWare.Win32.BookedSpace.h software, which is a family of adware applications known to infect Windows-based systems. Some of these users claim that the cfg32.exe process is injected with spyware-like functionalities because it appears to be capable of gathering Internet surfing information from the default Web browser, in order to display advertisements of products, service offers and discount deals that are related to the content of the user's regularly visited websites or bookmarked Web pages and Google searches. In these instances, some users state that the cfg32.exe process could also be capable of exploiting unprotected TCP/IP network ports of the infected Windows-based system, in order to transmit the Internet surfing details it collects from the default Web browser to predesignated Web servers, so these remote servers can send back pop-up ads that are relevant to those details.

How can I stop cfg32.exe and should I?

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cfg32.exe. is used by AdWare.Win32.BookedSpace.h, If you shut down cfg32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cfg32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AdWare.Win32.BookedSpace.h, from your system.
