What is  cdac11ba.exe

A registered Macrovision trademark, cdac11ba.exe is the process file that launches SafeCast Windows NT, the protection software especially designed to stop piracy. SafeCast features a product activation by telephone, the Internet, and by executable wrapping. The SafeCast program can be easily decoded with a keygen. There is a known controversy in using SafeCast, that is the overriding the security of operating systems, and the safeguarding and directly writing to the local disk boot track in its operation. Adobe uses a SafeCast version for its Creative Suites products, and is reported to have had comparatively less frequent problems or issues, particularly on certain disk configuration types, and continues using the technology for its copy protection. The reported dangers with using SafeCast are in the older versions of TrueCrypt leaves the computer in unbootable state, a problem caused by the SafeCast application, and not the TrueCrypt feature. Because of this, TrueCrypt developers have insulated the drives of external writings in its later versions, which resulted to no damage whatsoever to data. The SafeCast is applied to AutoCAD, the Longman Dictionary (Contemporary English), and all the Adobe products in the Creative Suites series.
