What is  ccd.exe

The executable file ccd.exe pertains to the Correct Connect Engine. This program was licensed by Broadjump (now known as Motive). This program is usually provided by various Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and is installed in the connection manager. This program allows your ISP to enable the automation of various integral functions in your ADSL connection. Some of these functions are monitoring, testing and even repairing problems in your connection. This allows direct interaction between the ISPs and the users. When a direct link is established, it will be easier for the ISP to send important messages and updates to their clients. The automated functions will increase the efficiency of both sides, and eliminate the need for help desk hotlines to a certain extent. The Correct Connect Engine may not be a required program for DSL connections to function, but it does provide faster customer service and it becomes a necessity.
