The executable file cbsystray.exe is the file associated with Connected Data Protector published by Iron Mountain. This program is a data backup service that can easily be installed on your computer. It only consumes minimal space and it is enhanced with many features. The data backup service can send the selected files into the internet, with assigned secure Data Centres as the destination. These files can be retrieved from any browser, as it is stored online. Users can also schedule the date and time to backup their files, as this service also includes provisions for backup scheduling. Connected Data Protector also allows backups as often as you want. As a running background program, all files are secure and may be able to be recovered at any time. The actual backup process also takes minutes, after the initial backup which could take a considerable amount of time.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cbsystray.exe. is used by Iron Mountain Connected Data Protector, If you shut down cbsystray.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
