Capture Plugin for the USB devices is the service name of the file capturegenusb.exe, a type of an executable file, and a part of the program Hauppauge WinTV, which is developed by Hauppauge Computer Works. Hauppauge WinTV is specifically designed with most versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, which include Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows 2000, as well as Media Center editions. This program is bundled with a miniature IR receiver and transmitter, and it is controllable by the user, especially the included WinTV2000 PVR application. It also allows a user to change channels through the cable or satellite set-top box, in just a single remote. The capturegenusb.exe file is responsible in its connection with the USB devices, and this is somehow essential. It must not be terminated or stopped, but rather kept running in the background, and provides its task. The only reason to delete it is if it is causing problems and errors that affect the performance and speed of the computer.
