What is  capture.exe

The capture.exe process is the executable file for Screenshot, the image file that shows the contents of the computer's screen upon the moment of video screen capture, more known as the PrintScreen, the digital recording of screen output. Capture.exe has two types: • SCREENSHOT, the screen dump or screen capture, also called ScreenGrab or PrintScreen. This is the image the user takes from the images in the computer screen to record visible items. Usually a digital image from the operating system or the software running on the machine, it can be a capture made using a camera or any device intercepting a display video output. The captured image is then converted or saved as .bmp, .jpg, .png, or .gif formats. • SCREENCAST, a digital recording from a computer screen output, more known as the video screen capture, usually containing audio narrations. The term ScreenCast is compared to the (related) term ScreenShot. ScreenShot is a picture of the computer screen, while ScreenCast is a movie of changing images seen on the computer screen, with audio narration.
