What is  btmmhook.dll

The btmmhook.dll process is a type of dynamic link library called as Multimedia Keys Hook DLL, also known as WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software, particularly in versions 6.1.0.2200 and6.1.0.1203, and a component of the program Bluetooth Software, or WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software or HP Integrated Module with or Broadcom version 2070 Bluetooth or HP Integrated Module with Bluetooth wireless or Lenovo Bluetooth with Enhanced Data Rate, which is developed by Broadcom. Multimedia Keys Hook DLL is a process for the OEM distributed Bluetooth Windows software drivers by Broadcom. Therefore, the btmmhook.dll file is bundled within the driver updates of Broadcom OEMs. Once this associated program is installed on the computer, btmmhook.dll is also downloaded, stores itself on a particular file folder location on Windows system, and runs in the background, during startup of the PC, or when manually executed by the user. As an essential component, btmmhook.dll is recommended to remain stored and running on the computer, unless it is causing errors, and problems that slow down the performance or speed of the Windows PC.
