The broadcastproxy.exe process is a file also known as BroadcastProxy, which was developed by Symbian Ltd software, and is a non-system process that originates from software installed by the user on the system. Proxy solution and broadcast solution are the main approaches of module broadcastproxy.exe, which can be used from nodes in a network when requesting an IP address. Proxy solution is able to communicate with any node configured in communication range, while the approach of the broadcast solution is able to broadcast the data from non-configured nodes and take it back to configured nodes. Through the PAA, a non-configured node has the capacity to mobilize and use other type of configuration nodes for different parts of configuration procedures. The broadcastproxy.exe process is integrated with features for providing a more robust DAD that can give advantages of mobility and prevents disconnections or service interruptions that cause conflicting messages.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. broadcastproxy.exe. is used by BroadcastProxy Module, If you shut down broadcastproxy.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop broadcastproxy.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is BroadcastProxy Module, from your system.
