The executable process file, broadcam.exe (version 2.01), belongs to the software, BroadCam and is related to the BroadCam video streaming server that is developed by the Company, NCH Software. The process file is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process broadcam.exe which has several attributes such as that of being able to hide itself or that showing no visible window, however it is not considered as a windows core file. The process file is found to be located in C:\Program Files\ NCH Software\ BroadCam\ broadCam.exe folder with a file size on Windows 7 or XP of 368,644 bytes (56% of all incidences), 1,052,676 bytes and 4 other variants namely 2,469,380 bytes, 946,180 bytes, 1,354,244 bytes or 659,460 bytes. In functionality, the process file, broadcam.exe uses ports in able to connect to the Internet and to the Local Area Network (LAN) that enables itself to manipulate other programs, monitor other applications and record inputs.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. broadcam.exe. is used by BroadCam, If you shut down broadcam.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop broadcam.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is BroadCam, from your system.
