The br4743on.exe file is an executable process associated with a Worm called Win32.Brontok and is produced when this Worm is already running on a computer system. The br4743on.exe module in relation with Win32.Brontok has the capacity to replicate itself inside the user’s data directory and places itself afterwards on the Windows Start-Up. The process br4743on.exe is able to turn off the regedit.exe (Windows Registry Editor) and manipulates the changes inside the Windows Explorer setup. The br4743on.exe application can take out the function of the Folder Options on Tools menu, wherein the user could not be able to access his/her hidden files anymore. The file br4743on.exe is also able to deactivate the Windows Firewall without the consent of the user and can affect the Windows Explorer when a specific address is typed. The br4743on.exe process has the ability to force a computer reboot whenever the user opens the Command Prompt in the Windows as well as preventing the user to download files.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. br4743on.exe. is used by Win32.Brontok, If you shut down br4743on.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop br4743on.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Win32.Brontok, from your system.
