Otherwise known as BOINC Manager for Windows, also World Community Grid for Windows, as its service name, the process boincmgr.exe is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a component of the software product labeled as BOINC Manager, or BOINC Client, or CPDNBBC Core Client, or BOINC Core Client, or World Community Grid – BOINC, which is created by Space Sciences Laboratory or Space Sciences Laboratory, U.C. Berkeley or World Community Grid. Upon the installation process of the program, the boincmgr.exe file is one of the essential modules that are downloaded onto the computer, where it is stored on a file folder location, registered into the Windows registry, and automatically run in the background. The boincmgr.exe file is a Windows process, so it certainly runs in most or all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, or Windows operating systems, or Windows OS, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. In addition, boincmgr.exe is digitally signed by University of California, Berkeley - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. boincmgr.exe. is used by BOINC Manager or BOINC client or CPDNBBC core client or BOINC core client or World Community Grid - BOINC, If you shut down boincmgr.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop boincmgr.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is BOINC Manager or BOINC client or CPDNBBC core client or BOINC core client or World Community Grid - BOINC, from your system.
