The bgstb.dll file is a process called pdfMachine Toolbar for IE that is used by the software pdfMachine created by Broadgun Software. The location of this process file is in C:\Windows\System32 folder or its subfolder. Known sizes for this file include 270,992 bytes, 272,088 bytes and 270,728 bytes with 55% occurrence. This DLL file is a BHO [browser helper object] that runs automatically when you load the Internet browser. This BHO has the unique ID 56CF4856-ECB4-4e46-A897-A378821F97B9. This is not a visible process. It can monitor activities on the Internet browser. The bgstb.dll file has a digital signature by Broadgun Software with certificate issued by VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer – G2. This process records inputs. This is a legitimate process. pdfMachine is PDF writing software that converts a print stream from one application into PDF directly. When this application is installed, the user will open the document to convert then click print to select Broadgun pdfMachine printer. PDF documents that are made by pdfMachine maintain the integrity of the original document. They are supported on Windows, Unix and MacOS systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. bgstb.dll. is used by pdfMachine, If you shut down bgstb.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop bgstb.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is pdfMachine, from your system.
