The bbimpsec.exe file is the process called BBImpSec MFC Application that is used by the software BBImpSec Application that is associated with Sify Broadband. The location of this executable file is in the C:\Program Files subfolder. Known sizes for this file include 135,243 byte and 127,085 bytes with 87% occurrence. There is no visible window for this program. You can access the program form the Windows Control Panel. The program starts when you boot Windows. The registry key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The bbimpsec.exe file can monitor applications. This file has no digital signature. Running processes and the current user autorun registry entries are the automatic startup locations for this process. Sify is an Internet service provider from India. It offers broadband serivice known as Sify Broadband. It provides Internet connectivity and value added services like free anti-virus, travel ticket booking, educational packages, mobile recharge, utility bill payment and more.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. bbimpsec.exe. is used by BBImpSec Application, If you shut down bbimpsec.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop bbimpsec.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is BBImpSec Application, from your system.

A process usually a part of an installed application such as BBImpSec Application, or your operating system that is responsible for running in functions of that application. Some application require that they have processes running all the time so they can do things such as check for updates or notify you when you get an instant message. Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
