What is  baloon.exe

The baloon.exe file is the process known as baloon.exe. Most anti-virus program reports identify this process as malware. The location of this file is in the C:\Program Files subfolder. The size of the file is 77,824 bytes. There is no visible window for this program. The program runs when you start Windows. The registry key is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. It is a non-system process that originates from the software installed in the system. You can access the program on the Windows Control Panel. The baloon.exe file injects itself into Windows system to drop malicious files on local or network computer. Once installed, it monitors computing activities and runs executable payloads with popup ads. It infects systems through freeware sites, adult porn and spam E-mail ads. It can produce annoying error bleepings and run abnormal baloon.exe process on Windows Task Manager. It may re-install itself after removal. It can record registry activity and system settings. It can log and transmit usernames, passwords, keystrokes, and private information to hackers. Automatic startup locations for this process include running processes, local machine for autorun registry entries, current user autorun registry entries, default user autorun registry entries and autorun registry entries S-1-5-XX users.
