The b4aotb.exe file is the process called b4aOTB application that is used by the software Backup4all developed by Softland. This process file is located in the subfolder C:\Program Files. Known sizes for the file include 692,224 bytes, 876,184 bytes and 161,280 bytes with 55% occurrence. It is not a visible program. The process starts when you load Windows. The registry key is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. The b4aotb.exe file can record inputs, manipulate other applications and hide itself. You can access the program on Windows Control Panel. This file has a digital signature by Softland with certificate issued by Comodo Time Stamping Signer. Automatic startup locations for this process include local machine for autorun registry entries, current user autorun registry entries and running processes. The b4aOTB application version 4.4.0.195 has an MD5 of cf4d15459e9504b9a3d585b6daed1f46. The directory for this file is %PROGRAMFILES%\Softland\Backup4all Professional 4.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. b4aotb.exe. is used by Backup4all, If you shut down b4aotb.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop b4aotb.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Backup4all, from your system.
