The executable file awhost32.exe is mainly responsible for launching applications related to Symantec’s pcAnywhere software suite. The software is also installed by individual users for personal use. They can remotely access their home computers while at the office. This is a helpful tool since file transfers can be done remotely, which means if you need anything from the other computer, you can simply access the files from anywhere the host computer is.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. awhost32.exe. is used by pcAnywhere , If you shut down awhost32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop awhost32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is pcAnywhere , from your system.
