The averqt.exe file is the process called QuickTV Application that belongs to the application QuickTV that is developed by AVerMedia Technologies. The location of the process file is in the subfolder C:\Program Files. Known sizes for the file include 507,904 bytes, 516,096 bytes and 512,000 bytes with 50% occurrence on Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system. The file is not a system file for Windows. The program loads when you start Windows. The registry key for this entry is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders. The averqt.exe file can record inputs. A non-system process such as averqt.exe originates from the software that is installed in the system. The process is not CPU intensive which means it will not use up a lot of CPU resources. QuickTV is a multimedia software that offers multimedia content for entertainment as well as corporate purposes.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. averqt.exe. is used by QuickTV, If you shut down averqt.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop averqt.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is QuickTV, from your system.
