The avconsol.exe file is an add-on function to the software McAfee Antivirus developed by McAfee. It is an executable process that runs automatically on startup. You will find avconsol.exe on the Windows Task Manager under processes. The size consumed by avconsol.exe is 115KB on virtual memory or RAM [random access memory] once it scans the system. McAfee Antivirus is a safe program to run on Windows operating system. It does not conflict with any Windows driver or application. The avconsol.exe file is found on the C:\Program Files folder. It is part of the McAfee scheduler that schedules regular scanning procedures. McAfee Antivirus software protects the system from malicious applications. It aims to optimize, secure and protect the workstation of end users from malicious operations such as viruses. The avconsol.exe process is a non-system process. It originates from the software installed on your computer. It can run on the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. avconsol.exe. is used by McAfee Antivirus Software, If you shut down avconsol.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop avconsol.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is McAfee Antivirus Software, from your system.
