What is  autostart.exe

Discstarter Runtime-Modul or Discstarter Runtime System is the service name used for the EXE process autostart.exe, and is a part of the software product known as Discstarter or RichiStudios Shutdown, which is developed by Joachim Schwieren Software- Entwicklung & Vertrieb or mirabyte GmbH & Co. KG or RichiStudios. Upon the installation of the program, the autostart.exe file is added into the system, where it automatically starts to execute itself, or its encoded task, which is to allow a computer user to create professional HTML autostart menus for DVDs, CDs and even USB drives, through the use of web authoring tools. The application that houses the autostart.exe file supports some later versions of Windows operating system (OS) by Microsoft Corporation, i.e. Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and Windows 8. The autostart.exe module is not essentially a file that launches the important utility tools of the operating system, but still runs in the background, which can be checked in the Task Manager.
