The autobahn.exe process is a Windows file that is a part of the software Autobahn or Autobahn Platform, which is a tool that is related to streaming of high quality videos, and is developed by Swarmcast, a known company for producing online videos and associated applications. This software has advanced technology features, which include Autobahn HD, and is used to enable the delivery of high definition or HD on-demand video to users, and Autobahn Live that for live streaming of videos in HD for audiences around the world. With all these features and more, the autobahn.exe file is considered essential, and recommended to run in the background of a Windows computer. Once this software is downloaded, the autobahn.exe file also installs and stores itself in a particular file on the computer, where it can run itself automatically during the Windows startup, or manually when the user launches the program Autobahn.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. autobahn.exe. is used by Autobahn, If you shut down autobahn.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
