Known by the service name Advanced System Protector, the process asp.exe is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and a part of the software product called Advanced System Protector or ASP.NETWORK or AOL Spyware Protection, which is created by Systweak or AOL Spyware Protection. Advanced System Protector or ASP.NETWORK or AOL Spyware Protection is basically a type of spyware removal program, that is designed to scan and delete spyware, as well as malware, which is an important application that must be downloaded onto the computer. The asp.exe file is a Windows process, so it is compatible with most or all versions of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, also known as Windows operating systems, or simply Windows OS, which include Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME. Whichever OS is used, asp.exe needs to remain active and running in the background.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. asp.exe. is used by Advanced System Protector or ASP.NETWORK or AOL Spyware Protection, If you shut down asp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop asp.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Advanced System Protector or ASP.NETWORK or AOL Spyware Protection, from your system.

Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
