The asdr.exe file is called ASUS SmartDoctor - Graphics Card Utility, or ASDR Application, which is a part of the program ASUS Smart Doctor, and is developed by by ASUSTek Computer, Inc. for ASUS laptops and notebooks. ASUS Smart Doctor is a type of software that is consisted by different special tools used for the improvement of the ASUS graphics cards. It has the capabilities to monitor the fan RMP of the CPU, temperature of the GPU and RAM, AGP Power Level, manually overclocking through the slide bar, as well as change those settings for optimum performance. As a part of the software, asdr.exe is considered to be a very essential component that makes up or contributes to the different functions of ASUS Smart Doctor. Therefore, this file needs to continuously run in the background, and act as an important tool, specifically in providing its primary task within the software to the computer system.
