The executable process file, arcltsrv.exe (version 4.4.0.0), is a part of the product CryptoKit with the following description of AR Client Service as developed by the Company Algorithmic Resources, Ltd.. Basically, it is an ARcltsrv part of CryptoKit for Algorithmic Resources Ltd. that is found running in the Task Manager as the process arcltsrv.exe. It has the feature of being a digitally Verisign signed file but has no visible window and is neither considered as a Windows core file. The process file arcltsrv.exe is found to be located in Program Files\arl\cryptokit\utils folder, with the directory of %Program Files%\ARX\ARX CryptoKit utils with a file size on Windows 7 or XP of 104,320 bytes (60% of all incidences), or 83,600 bytes. The location of the file may vary in several Windows languages or versions including: 4.1.1.0 (size 104,576 bytes), 4.2.0.0 or 4.2.10.0 (size 104,320 bytes), 3.8.3.0 (size 83,600 bytes), and 3.7.0.0 (size 79,504 bytes) all under the Category of Algorithmic Resources Ltd.. As a digitally signed file, the issuer of the certificate is from Verisign Time Stamping Services Signer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. arcltsrv.exe. is used by Arcltsrv, If you shut down arcltsrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop arcltsrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Arcltsrv, from your system.
