What is  arcgis.exe

The process known as arcgis.exe is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is known by the service name ARCGIS daemon or ArcGIS daemon, which is a component of the software ArcGIS, or ArcGIS License Manager, or ARCGIS License Manager, and is developed by Environmental Systems Research Institute, or otherwise known as ESRI. The program that houses the module is downloaded onto the computer, while the arcgis.exe file, which is digitally signed from Environmental Systems Research Institute - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2, is added into the Windows registry, stored on a file folder labeled as C:\Program Files, and run in the background of the system. Also, the arcgis.exe file is downloadable in certain versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.
