The api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-032.dll file has been reported by many users as a malicious application associated with the trojanDownloader:Win32.Trackur program, which is a family of Trojans known to infect Windows-based systems. The same users claim that the api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-032.dll file is capable of downloading more malicious applications upon the system upon its successful placement and activation in the Windows-based computer. The api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-032.dll file is said to be integrated into the system upon the installation of certain third party Web browser plugins, software crackers and registry key generators, fake codecs and other programs bundled with other malware items aside from the api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-032.dll file. Upon its placement and execution, the api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-032.dll file is said to create and inject keys and entries into the Windows System Registry, in order for the system to allow the api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-032.dll file to automatically initialize during system startup and covertly operate as a hidden background process during system runtime. The same user reports state that the api-ms-win-core-memory-l1-1-032.dll file searches for system vulnerabilities it can exploit to initiate contact with predesignated Web servers that are managed by its authors, in order to download more malicious applications unto the system, and these system vulnerabilities include unprotected TCP/IP network ports and outdated Web browsers of the unsecured Windows-based system.
