Sony Vaio has a process file named AML and is used for the software called VAIO Launcher. This software is a dock which is on screen which creates an application shortcuts for the convenience of the user. The file AML.exe is usually located in the C:\Program Files and has the known file size of 1,097,728 bytes. The size usually differs on various versions of Microsoft Operating System such as Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. This process contains a visible window for the user to set the icons and as well as the behavior of the Software. This software starts when the Operating System (OS) starts. The file has the registration key of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. And this file does not belong to the Window core system file. This software has the ability to record inputs. The user may have the choice to remove the process by removing the entire software namely VAIO Launcher.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aml.exe. is used by VAIO Launcher , If you shut down aml.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aml.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is VAIO Launcher , from your system.
