Advance Micro Devices (AMD), Inc., a digital software provider, is the owner of the software for AMD Low Level Device Driver, which uses the system file amdlld.sys. This system process supports the indicated driver, which allows the main computer and an external peripheral or device to communicate with each other to function or to perform as prompted by the user. Because of the nature of this file, this has access to the computer system and translates input from the installed peripheral to the computer. This system file can be located inside the system32 subfolder of the Windows folder of the local drive directory, and commonly ranges from 33 KB to 34 KB of file size. When running, this file does not pull up any visible window. Disabling this process may lead to problems connected to the peripheral associated with the drive it supports.
