File altpayments.exe is an executable file by software Notifier. It is commonly known by the software name and is said to be a dangerous file when used for credit card transactions online. This file is considered an adware, a spyware, and a virus that can trick users into paying money or providing their personal and bank information through advertisement pop-ups. This file has the ability to use other types of advertisements to collect credit card information from internet and computer users. Users can find this located on their computer’s C:\Program Files folder. They can manually delete it or uninstall the software, Notifier, from their computer’s Control Panel. This process file also runs automatically along with every startup of a Windows computer. To access the internet and the computer, this file has to first access the ports to get to the Local Area Network or internet of a user.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. altpayments.exe. is used by Notifier, If you shut down altpayments.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop altpayments.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Notifier, from your system.
