Referred to as ALSysIO as its service name, alsysio.sys is a Windows process and a driver file that is a part of the Core Temp Software, or Adobe Premiere Elements version 10, which is developed by Arthur Liberman, and is digitally signed by CoolIT Systems Inc. (VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2). As a Windows file, the software that houses it is compatible with both later and early versions of Microsoft Windows Operating System, including Windows 7, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows 2000, and Windows NT. As a digitally signed and Windows file, it is important to keep alsysio.sys running in the background, because it is not recommended to remove, unless the software itself it no longer useful for the owner of the computer. Also, this file may be called by other processes so they can be executed and provide their own functions. Therefore, it has to remain stored on its folder location on the computer, and keep running to enable the software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. alsysio.sys. is used by Core Temp Software, If you shut down alsysio.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop alsysio.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Core Temp Software, from your system.
