This aloport.sys file is simply known as AloPort. This is a system file and the usual extension of system files are *.sys. File names with extensions like this are only seen on Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and on DOS operating system classifications. System files like aloport.sys are called real mode or real address mode. Real mode or real address mode is categorized under the 20-bit segmented memory address space. System files like aloport.sys are real mode device drivers. Device drivers are significant computer programs that communicate with devices connected to the computer. They perform specific functions depending on the commands they detect or receive from the computer via the user’s inputs. Since system files are device drivers, they are expected to be dependent on the computer’s operating system and cannot operate alone. Device drivers are required to work with the software as well as with the hardware of a computer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aloport.sys. is used by AloPort, If you shut down aloport.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aloport.sys, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AloPort, from your system.
