The alarmapp.exe file called Alarm Application is a product property of the software Palm Desktop that was developed and created by Palm. Alarm Application or Palm Desktop is used to synchronize alarms on a desktop’s clock settings. The Palm Desktop software enables a user to view, edit, sort out, and add features to any Palm OS handheld gadgets. This software has a user-friendly interface that helps users easily understand how to navigate as well as use all the tools or features that is present on the user interface. This software is compatible to both Microsoft Windows operating systems and Mac OS X operating systems. The Palm Desktop software is a useful tool in managing personal information on the computer. Personal information that users manage include personal notes or journals, address books, task lists, calendar dates, birthdays, anniversaries, reminders, and the like.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. alarmapp.exe. is used by Palm Desktop, If you shut down alarmapp.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop alarmapp.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Palm Desktop, from your system.
