What is  airgcfg.exe

Owned and developed by D-Link Corporation, airgcfg.exe is the hardware driver of the D-Link Wireless WLAN routers and USB devices. It is the executable file that runs the application for the WLAN Monitor in its function to connect network wirelessly while checking the speed and quality of the connection. Airgcfg.exe also auto-detects servers that are available in wireless networks and it is used as the internet connection software. When running airgcfg.exe, an icon is displayed on the system tray indicating its active or inactive statuses, and double-clicking it would open a window showing the details of the current connection status. The file airgcfg.exe can be found in C:\Program Files\Wireless LAN Monitor\Taskpanel.exe. Airgcfg.exe utilizes minimal resources and provides the user the ability to manually start the program. There are no reported compatibility issues or problems with the functionality of this application. However, terminating the process may disable some programs it supports.
