What is  aexplore.exe

The aexplore.exe is a process also known as the AOL Explorer or simply AOL. It is a property of the product software AOL Service Libraries developed by America Online. The aexplore.exe file name has the vulnerability of being copied or imitated by a virus or malware. To avoid this, it is recommended that users must check their registry by running a scan to identify slowdown issues. This process is a non-system process so it can be disabled if it is involved with issues that cause the computer to perform poorly. The aexplore.exe is used by 'AOL Browsing.' This is an application created by 'AOL.'
