It is located in the directory C:\Windows\System32\drivers folder of a Windows computer. It is a keyboard driver tool and has the capability to record inputs. This file is not considered a Windows core file so that means it can use up some space in the computer’s system or memory. Although it is not a critical executable file, this process is used to administer certain programs for its running condition. It is responsible for loading and processing various settings once an application or program in Windows is accessed. The file size of this program is 27,904 bytes on Windows 7 and Windows XP operating systems.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aeinput.sys. is used by AeInput, If you shut down aeinput.sys, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
